It is time to gear up for my Spring speaking run and I am very excited to get out there! I have been working hard on my new message “Do Not Engage! A Message on Forgiveness.” And I must say this one has caused me to go deep. I have spent countless hours studying forgiveness from Genesis to Revelation and I have met with my Pastor to discuss my revelations and findings. I am so thankful to the Lord for putting this message on my heart and I believe the Truth that I have found will impact many and bring healing to those who have held back in the area of forgiveness due to a lack of understanding.
If you know the story of my parents then you might think this message derived from my God-given ability to forgive one of the ones who murdered my parents, but it’s not! This message comes from a place of betrayal and from the story of a young woman who was distraught over people in the church telling her to do something that God did not require of her. I believe the reason why there is so much unforgiveness is because people don’t have a clear understanding of what forgiving someone really means! My heart's cry for this message is to share the Biblical Truth about forgiveness that will set people free from the bondage of unforgiveness!
Show me Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are
God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long. Psalms 25:4-5
In my coming Newsletters, I’ll let you know how this message unfolds…

In my last “Me & My Donnie” Newsletter I talked about snow and our white Christmas. So, I might as well segue right into my March Newsletter in the same fashion! Man, Oh Man did Celina, TX ever get a snow storm on March 6th! It was AWESOME! Snowflakes as big as cotton balls!!! So I say again “Everything IS bigger in Texas!” Donnie and I had a blast and of course Donnie HAD to go out and drive in it, we had almost a foot of snow! Tiger and Missy (our fur kids) did not know quite what to make of it an d wanted to take it slow and check it out on their terms. But NO, Donnie had to toss them right out in the middle of it…BIG MEANIE! Tiger thought, “Hey this is cool!” Missy on the other hand thought “This was NOT my idea and OH NO, MY PAWS ARE WET!!!” Unfortunately it was in the 70’s the day before, so in 24 hours it was all gone! But it was sure fun while it lasted!
I am looking forward to Springtime, because working in my yard is one of my most favorite things to do. I love flowers and working with pots, because I’m not much of a flowerbed fan. Living out in the country makes it practically impossible to keep the weeds under control. So, I have potted flowering plants everywhere, pots of all shapes sizes and colors made out of all different kinds of things. Sometimes Donnie will look at me and say “NO, you are not going to use that to plant in are you?” Always when I’m done, with a look of approval in his eyes, he just shakes his head and smiles his handsome face at me.
“Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my
beautiful one, come with me." Song of Soloman 2:12-13

How about a Breakfast Recipe this month? Donnie’s favorite meal is breakfast and this is one I prepare a lot when we are in California, because it is a family favorite. I promise this one is fast, easy and very delicious!
